Waugaman - Kensington Mines Collection, 1890-1910.

The Waugaman - Kensington Mines Collection consists of engineering reports from 1890 to 1909, legal papers, and photographs, the bulk of which are in photograph albums. The Kensington Mines Company included the Seward Gold Mining Company, Ophir Gold Mining Company, Northern Belle Mining Company, and Nowell Mining and Milling Company, all included in the report, as well as sixty-seven other claims in the Juneau mining district. Also included in the collection are materials relating to a claim dispute involving the Kensington Mining Company. The photographs were taken in Juneau, Ketchikan, Angoon Bay, Sitka, and other southeastern Alaska areas. Subjects of the photographs include Kensington Mine personnel, mines, and mining equipment.
